as above my brake disc shields are rotten where the handbrake shoe pins go thru so looking for a good pair,also rear silencer and front flexi joint,ball joint aswell all for 02 plate 406 hdi estate 110 model.cheers

whilst cleaning my maf i noticed there is only 1 wire instead of the 2 hence the bad running so needing another maf asap.cheers

thought i would post on here first see if its a common fault before i go investigating.my 406 hdi estate 110 model 2002 driving today has lack of power when the foot is put down turbo works around the 1500 mark above the 2000 it doesnt seem to boost as i said when i put foot down it has no go in it ...

forgot to update this thread so incase anyone has similar faults with lights etc it was down to my engine bay fusebox damp and shorting,10min fix.

first up i'm needing a pair of shocks for the rear,and rear exhaust silencer all for the above car.cheers

right replaced comm unit with new one fault was with old unit for abs problem,But i began to replace this comm due to problems with headlamps,now and again headlights do not work on dipped and now they do but stay on with key removed,i have to disconnect battery to get lights off and my central lock...

cheers for reply i got comm unit from breakers it never had this problem before so im presuming its been me fiddling about in there,never moved the seats as they are electric and battery was disconnected for more than an hour,only difference i saw was my cars a 02 plate it had a 2007 com unit fitted...

Hi ive replaced my comm unit and now i get beep with display showing airbag fault and light is permanently on,any ideas of what this can be?thanks

cheers for the tips will get a look at it today if this rain goes off.thinking it might be needing replaced tho it was a taxi before i bought it.lots of miles (265,000)same engine and gearbox so they cant be that bad a car if looked after.

cheers i phoned the dealers or should i say stealers £104+vat shocking considering it has 1 knuckle joint,would it not be any easier dropping column inside car and taking throught the inside?i'm not sure how its done just better getting an idea before tackling it.

my 406 hdi 2002 model has failed mot with play in universal joint between steering column and rack.are they hard to replace and are they dealer part only?cheers

radio problem sorted was loose connection at head unit.still needing help with key fob if anyone can help? central locking works with key in lock but fob doesnt work everything else ok just be handy to have the lazy lock/unlock working.cheers

Tried numerous ways as advertised on internet and just had a weird fault when i pressed both buttons on fob my radio switched itself on i was outside with door closed????? any ideas would be appreciated cheers
