gave the car to a local mechanic to fix and he said the leak was on the low pressure side (I'm assuming he means pre pump) so because of this he could cut and join the pipe, he cut the section out and pieced in a small section of rubber hose with 2 jubilee clips, has been fine so far. fingers crosse...

needing some advice on how to repair an oil leak on the power steering pipework. there is a rigid pipe (aluminum i think) comes out of the power steering reservoir and then changes to flexi hose and then re-connects to a rigid pipe and then goes to the pump, its on the aluminium pipe just after the ...

Hi there this happens all the time day or night. after a few miles on saturday it corrected itself again and was ok for the rest of the day ,but came back on sunday.

Definately a fuel problem, had to re-prime this morning, as soon as i did this it started no problem, must be air getting in to fuel system somewhere between injectors and inlet to fuel filter.
just have to find it now.
