Temp Sensor Fault Maybe??

Hi on my trip computer / used to be just a radio and temp readout, the temp is always in the twentys even today when the car is covered in snow.

Is it at fault, or is it inside the car for some unknown reason, where should it be situated as to check it??

Thanks, Mark.

Re: Smell of burning rubber?

I had this on a previous car, ended up being one of the exhaust mounts not mounted correctly and touching the exhaust pipe, and causing burning rubber smell.

Re: Turbo Problem

My guesses in order of likelihood for an intermittent problem: 1. The wastegate solenoid - little valve on the o/s near the cambelt cover 2. Sticking wastegate. You can get under the car and try to move the actuator arm 3. Sticking dump valve. Take it off and push the valve open - see how it feels ...

steve_earwig wrote:Sounds like my D8, the button appears to be there but it's a dummy, if it's supposed to work it'll have an arrow or two on it.
So is it possible to get a button stalk and replace to get the features??

Thanks, Mark.
