Re: Remote Key problem
Hello again, Just read a post somewhere that suggested removing big switch from the board and replace it with the the 'small' switch (not sure what it's for, never used it). Does'nt sound lioke a bad idea, certainly better than paying £100 for a new switch, especially if I have never used the small ...

Re: Heater Matrix replacement
Hello again, Sorry just realised that I hadn't read your post correctly.... The heater ws not working before I added the seal, and when I did add the seal I clamped off the flow / return to the matrix, so no sealant could get in. I haven't checked the thermostat, is it 'top right' on the block in th...

Re: Heater Matrix replacement
Hello, thanks for the reply Its a long story but basically, I suspected that the heater matrix was blocked some time ago but did'nt realise that i could bleed it etc until I was told that I may have a HG problem as we found an oil/water mix on the dipstick. Re: Cooling Fans coming on too early?
Thanks, I am not sure whether the whole heating problem did'nt simply stem from losing water out of the radiator....airlock in the matrix somewhere whicjh i couold have easily bled!! Anyway, when draining I used the quarter turn plug at the bottom right of the radiator, then found the two bleed caps...

Re: Cooling Fans coming on too early?
Hi, thanks for the info'....it becomes a little clearer! The full story started with poor / no heating, which given the cold spell was a problem. To be fair it has'nt been working well for a long time. So I got a local garage to take a look and they said that the matrix probably needed replacing. I ...
