Afternoon gents, i'm after some advise with a small prob. which happened yesterday. Changed the fuel pump in the tank a while ago, couldn't get the locking ring on properly so i just bodged it for a while. However if i put any more than say £30 of diesel in it leaks out the top, so ive just sorted a new one out to keep the job right, but can i hell get this one on either!!! I thoug...

Well, after thinking i had sorted my fuel pump problem last night (see Fuel Pump?) i went to take the car to work this morning only to havee the exact same thing happen as yesterday.
time to bite the bullet & buy a new pump i think.

Well, just dropped my father in law off (20 mile round trip) & it never missed a beat. Even the engine light on the dash has gone out.

Had mine in the garage yesterday having the belts, water pump, filters & oil changed. A few other things were found while he was on: Bottom pulley (done), front drop link (ordered), flexi pipe in exhaust (ordered), 2 x CV joints req. to sort EBS prob & a new rear engine mount req. Still looking at C...

Just thought i'd let you chaps know Halfords have a 'special' on at the minute with oil. 5l of Mobi l(TD) semi synth is a tad over £20.

Thanks, is the stuff from euro car parts ok? I've noticed they've got 2 water pumps listed - a Circoli pump for £19:93 & a KWP pump for £27:18. Is there any real difference? Also they don't appear to have the crank pulley listed, where would be the best place for one of these ? Apologies for all the...
