hi all Well car went into garage today , head gasket gone , cracked head , and problems with no 2 bore , told me not worth fixing , was not sure the top of the block was to good either , so will put a new engine in if i can find one , but you risk that being bad as well, so as per my first post look...

hiya yes blowing air out of those holes , it was , or i felt it blowing further up that same pipe where it joins the breather/air filter box , which i ran some gutter sealant round (silicon-ish stuff) to the joint to stop the blow as per my earlier post but now it blows from those holes , there is n...

Hi all Found it's blowing air out the bottom of the air filter box where it joins to the hard plastic pipe going down, ( would have thought it would be sucking rather than blowing?) anyway have tried diconectinting and reseating but still blowing air around the plastic clip joint ? Ok, well pump primed yesterday morning but no change , have finally managed to do 4th glow plug with lots of help from me dad , what a nightmare that is , for something that should be so simple ! , plug was dead , so hopefully new one will help , will let you know in the morning .

Hi Yes glow plugs replaced first when it started happening , well the first three from passanger side to drivers , only one of those three was not working but changed them anyway seeing as i had them out , cars fine once warm though, even after being left for 8 hours at work , just the overnight bit...

Hi All hopefully someone can help me out here , I have a 1998 406 1.9td estate and have a query regarding the fuel pump on the rear of the fuel pump you have a sprung lever (just above glow plug) the cable feeds back to the passanger side and is attached to a hose vacum driven i think ? can someone ...
