Re: My 406

Yeah its definitely not metallic. Looks awesome when the light hits it, got an almost orange/yellow hue. Embarking on a 350 mile round trip in her this week for my best mates wedding, really looking forward to giving her a decent run on the motorway. All sorted and ready to rock, did the usual: chec...

Re: My 406

Got a couple of ideas for some subtle mods for her. Remove the peugeot and 406 badges from the rear, some alloys and the later rear lights. Which brings me nicely to my questions: is it possible to fit 205 GTi 1.9 alloys to a 406? Reason I'm thinking of these is that the wheel trims look very simila...

My 406

Picked this beaut up for a good price the end of last year. My first 406, and first Peugeot actually. Really like it, had a slightly newer Honda Accord in the past and I think the 406 is generally a better car. Anyway heres some pics: http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr143/kernow83/mypug1.jpg http...

Wheels

Righto, my front tyres will need replacing soonish and I thought why not get a set of alloys with tyres instead to freshen up my 406? The ones I've been looking at are: 206 16in Nimrods, 406 coupe (the 6 spoke star ones) in either 15 or 16in and 306 15in Cyclones. Just wondering whether anyone has r...

Rubber seal along the sill

Yet another bodywork question! Sorry! I'm refering to the long piece that runs along the top of the sill on each side (visible when you open any door) The clips all along the area on the drivers door part have broke, this leaves the trim bulging out and its getting worse obviously with me get...

Plastic trim around windows

I'm looking at sorting out all the little niggles on my recently purchased 406. The one that makes me most  is the strip of trim that runs along the bottom of the large window on my nearside rear door. Its raised about 10mm from where it should be at the front edge and won't sit back into its ...

Bump strips

Basically both bump strips on both front doors are coming away from the bodywork. The drivers side is so bad the previous owner has bodged it with the use of black gaffa tape which looks cack. Is this a common problem and is it easy to get new clips? (which I guess is causing the problem) Any help g...
