The Main Stealer had given me the wrong bloody pulley! Muppets! I took it back and they gave me the correct one and then discounted it 10% for wasting my time. Hope to get the car back tomorrow with New Cambelt + Pulley Fitted!! Fingers crossed with all I've replaced on it (glow plugs, disks, pads, ...

Guys, do you know what the new Part Number for the Pulley is? I've just had one delivered from Peugeot for my 406 HDI 110 and it's got a key way in it and doesn't look like the pic above or the pic in Haynes (will post a pic a bit later) The part number I've been delivered is P00000515S4 123ACRKSHAF...

Bottom Pulley Price
Right, about to get my Cambelt changed on my 406 HDI 110 as I've got three 2k mile trips to France comming up before end of feb. My local Peugeot Specialist has quoted: £350 Cambelt Replacement (inc vat) £90 for the pulley on top. Peugeot in Rochester quote £140 for the part, does this mean the gara...

Phew that makes me much happier, my HDI 110 has done 68k and I was worried it'd need the belt at 72k. Which would make it an expensive year as it needs: New Front Discs - Had a look in Halfords and they wanted £90 per disc (screw that) anyone got a price on the originals? Clutch - Peugeot in Maidsto...

I replaced the Mid-Section and Back Box on my HDI 110 and Peugeot in Rochester Kent wanted £150 for the Back Box and £100 for the Mid Section. That was back in August, in the end I got bosal parts from http://www.leisureshack.co.uk and it cost me £150 the pair including delivery. I've done 10k miles...

I got a Fault Code Reader for ~£30 from http://www.ukobd.co.uk when the ECU Warning Light kept comming on on my 406 HDI LX. It identified the two problems I had pretty acurately (Throttle Position Sensor and Glow Plugs), though I understand they can be somewhat limited for more complex problems. Soc...

Fuel Economy Dropped
I've got a 2.0ltr HDI (110) and I had been getting ~650 Miles per tank, but for the last month I've been lucky to get over 600 and I've been doing quite a bit of Motorway mileage!
Any ideas why the drop? There's been no drop in power and it's not smoking!

HDI Tuning Boxes
Has anyone got any experience with using any of the "plug and play" tuning boxes from the likes of Dragon Tuning and Powerlick that you see on ebay? Are they any good and do they really work. Also do they do any damage? As far as I know all they're doing is remapping the injectors. I drove a mates M...
