Re: Michelin new tyre technology

Hi,

Image

What happens when you brake really hard look at it when you hit a rock (above) the whole tyre would collapse and the noise of the car would hit the road as the weight under braking moves to the front tyres.

Re: Good deal or not??

Hi, The car's performance is fine must have been me or it just needed a drive (3rd gear and foot down does leave you with a massive smile on your face), just topped the water bottle up for the washers and the engine bay looks like it has just rolled of the factory floor. I think the clutch is fine s...

Re: Good deal or not??

Hi trem1,

Not sure if you have read the same reviews, but most that i read say that the 2.0L is slower or at least feels "gutless" compared to the 1.6L. I am having a hard time understanding that as the 2.0L is 136bhp and the 1.6 is 110bhp.

Re: Good deal or not??

Hi, Well i am buying the car tomorrow and saying good bye to my 406. Trem i like the grill that looks ace. And certainly much cheaper than £50, i am not sure why you get the “what are you buying a Peugeot for” from everyone. It is only until you give them a lift you get “ hmm this is a nice car” is ...

Hi trem, Do you think the price is ok? Basically it is the first 407 I went to see and I think the deal is so good that I may be best off getting it rather than looking around. The paint work and interior is in perfect condition and the car is Metallic - Iron grey. The dealer also has offered to ins...

I don't want an estate and yes the biggest part goes on the roof.

Good deal or not??

Hi, Decided to part exchange the 406 for a 407. Does the following sound like a good deal or not? Part exchange for my Peugeot 406 GLX HDi (110) with sat nav 85K on the clock = £2,000 on a 51 plate. And the newer car is a Peugeot 407 2.0 HDi (136bhp) SE saloon with 21K on the clock on a 54 plate so ...
