Drivers Elec Window Fault

D8 1996 - when closing drivers elec window with the one touch button, it will automatically reopen to 3/4's and stop - and will only close via short bursts of the switch until closed

does this sound like a switch pack fault ? :idea:

Unbelievable same thing has just happened to mine Parked up over xmas with a glowplug problem repalaced the plugs with bosch ones stated the car and backed off the drive with a grinding noise and drove back on threw the keys back on the rack!!! can you recommend a supplier and parts list & how hard...

Just popped into my local garage to collected my car after getting the n/s/f coil spring replaced that snapped on Monday, only to move the car 2 foot with a grinding noise from the o/s/f, my my what a surprise the other sides snapped....................not bad really P Reg, 50,000m both frt springs ...

Our 1.9 TD (XUD) is around the 70 mark also, heaters working cabin gets hot hot

Where did you source your coolant pipe from fella, and was it a simple diy job too change out (any tips like).......keep up the good work I went to a local scrappy and got the pipe for £4. I cut it off from the rubber pipes as the clips are ridiculous to get off. Some of the pipes are sealed on by ...

Last year bought a 406 LX 1.9 TD 1996 'P'
1 owner, garaged, history, 36,000m (£800) :D sadly afew marks on body from old gentleman owner :( but sailed its MOT a week later.

Now at 46,000m and going well ....

I'm loving it...... :cheesy:

What type Anti-Freeze do I need for a drain and refill ?
