it was all set correctly, thinking maybe the pump just not working probably.

just done the bosch conversion on my 2.1, everything went together really well, timing belt tricky but managed it.. car started but alot of white smoke and wouldnt tick over screwed the fuel half turn then a full turn, smoke still continued. could this be be faulty pump/injectors or something else a...

thanks for the info so far guys, got sorted with a old style Bosch pump well two lol.when fitted i have to advance the pump does anyone recommend how many turns it should be screwed.
also where should I pipe a boost gauge to show precise psi/bar?

can anyone else help to know if a 406 1.9td Bosch pump will do.

i was thinking a simple remap and that was that, sounds like alot of work changing the pump and prob not acheive a great deal.
suppose people change pumps rather that forking out till get the lucas pump repaired.
