Re: Engine management light is on. Last update, farewell
Where do I start. Had to put the car in for MOT last week. It failed on various things, ball joints, seat belt light on, eml on etc. There was no power supply to fault reader socket as well. Estimate to investigate and cure electrical problems £350 ish + vat. Estimate for mot repairs £150 ish +vat. ...

Re: Engine management light is on
Well, I have tried all the local garages and some even further afield all to no avail. They all apear to be very busy and the earliest I could get it looked at is the middle of next week! I guess if you were thinking of opening a new business, then you couldnt go far wrong with a garage in Inverurie...

Re: Engine management light is on
Thanks guys for your quick response.
I think I will see later if the light has corrected itself,
but will get it plugged in to see what the problem is
before making the long journey home next week.

Engine management light is on
While driving from Northampton upto Aberdeen today, the little engine light on the dash board came on. The engine carried on running faultlessly for approx 200mls after the light came on,. Is this something that I should be concerned about or will it get me home aprox 500mls after my break? Ed 2000 ...

Wanted Wheels
Hi,
I am after a set of wheels to put some winter tyres on for my 2000, W reg 110Hdi Executive estate.
Preferably alloys, but steels would do, 15" of course1.
As near to Northampton (NN2) as possible!

15" steel wheels wanted
Hi, I am after a pair of 15" steel wheels for alloy wheel bolts so I can put some winter tyres on and put the alloys into the back of the garage for the winter. I put some winter tyres on the front only last year (all I could afford at the time) and have decided that it would be better to have them ...

Tow bar electrics!
I have got hold of a towbar for my W reg 110HDI estate. Fitting it is no problem, a very comprehensive instruction sheet and fixings kit came with it. The problem is the electrics which I hate doing myself. I have found a yellow and a blue connector behind the offside rear light cluster that look as...

Re: cruise control

I got the car 6 months ago how the cc worked as the handbook shows something
completely different to whats in the car.
I will be giving it a try out now in the morning!!

Re: tyres
I have used, and still do use, remould tyres on my Dellow Trials car for both on road and off road work. Nothing wrong with them! and at sub £20 each for what is effectively a new tyre exceedingly good value. On the trials car you could sometimes nock out a pair of tyres after only a couple of event...
