Re: Deep scratch repair and matching paint...

I wish i remembered to take photos etc, but i guess most regulars here know how to do all this amateur paint rubbish! :) to be honest, this is the first car i've had that's worth fixing! I purchased a few things to get started and today sanded down some of the bad scratches and applied filler to the...

Deep scratch repair and matching paint...

So i've managed to get a long scratch along the side of my car, very deep in one place. I've researched bodging the job myself and pretty confident i can do all the bits and bobs with filler, primer etc. I read that i can take my VIN to Halfords and that they can match my cars exact paint for me (my...

Re: Laguna splitter question... paint?

I found the photos of the white 406 with the black splitter on it earlier. I have to say it does actually look quite good, especially with the other black horizontal trim etc on the car. How does one go about fitting one of these to the car? I won't bother with the random idea of painting it.

Cheers.

Re: Laguna splitter question... paint?

Well as it turned out, i drove over a speed bump earlier and heard a brief scraping sound (without a splitter) So with my driving style, i doubt a splitter would be a good idea. We'll see though.

Laguna splitter question... paint?

I've read all over the forum about laguna splitters, and the photos all look great. I was wondering what material the actual splitter is made out of? I have a whiter than white 406 98 GLX and am wondering if the splitter is "paintable" I'm thinking that on an all white car, with the standard colour ...

Re: finally got round to uploading pics

Hi Turbotaxi, i've got a white 98 GLX and i think your wheels look awesome. Can you tell me what make they are?

Apologies for posting on quite an old subject, but i've just registered and have been browsing the pug-pics!
