Re: '99 1.8 16v engine hesitating (again)

Hi, I´m still having this stupid hesitation, and it comes to worst on gear change, from 1st to 2nd it´s horrible if I don-t rev up above 4000.

Could you just post a photo or a paint jpg with the exact location of your rubbed loom? Many thanks

Re: 406 turbo 2.0 problem

As far as I know, the 1.8 16v with sagem sl96 mounted on the 406, have knock sensor. The Peugeot Service box indicates that too.

Re: How do I connect an ODBII tool to a Sagem SL96?

I´m affraid than the only thing you can do is connect with a Lexia/Peugeot P2000 interface. I have one from chinaobd and it works very well with my sagem. :-)

Re: '99 1.8 16v engine hesitating (again)

Ok, I'll take a look on mine. What I don't understand is: why the fault manifests only at those rpm? Because of vibration?
What was the fuse blowed? (I mean what part of the car was protected by that fuse.)

Re: '99 1.8 16v engine hesitating (again)

Hi, same problem here. I've changed lambda sensor but it still hesitates. When disconnected, the car drove well, but once replaced, it started with the problem again. The map sensor is here: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/9742/sensormap.jpg It's under the admission collector. It's the number 5, ...
