Re: Light adjustment for driving abroad

You have to have the beam benders on, even in daylight. The French Police are s**t hot on this, especially around the Pas De Calais, and port areas, if you are caught without them, it is an on the spot fine. I go over to Belgium, via France, every month, and have done for the last 5 years, and alway...

I have a 99 D9 GLX Hdi and the armrests are not fitted to mine, I saw a 2000 LX Estate and it came with the armrests!

If you need a replacement tank, why not drop Farmerpug a line? He has a D9 diesel for spares, you might come to some arrangement,

Re: What/where for new discs?

Where abouts in Windsor are you? I was born and lived there for nearly 30 years. Well I'm actually in Old Windsor near Runnymede. I say Windsor as people have generally heard of the place (or should of anyway!). Of course I've heard of Old Windsor, I was born in the old hospital that used to be the...

Re: Dreaded Side Air Bag Light

Problem sorted!! After taking both seats out for better access, found the passenger side airbag wiring in the seat was split, so solded it back together, reinstalled the seat, and voila!! :) Happy days!!
Thanks Waue1978 for your replies.

Re: Dreaded Side Air Bag Light

I have the normal light saying 'Air Bag' and I also have a light showing a man sitting in a seat with a belt on and the airbag to the side of him, the seat backrest does not have 'Air Bag' on it, but I have a sticker down by the height adjust with 'Side Air Bag ' and 2 seats with occupants and air b...

Dreaded Side Air Bag Light

Hi All, I hope that somebody can shed some light on this, my 406 is a 99 D9 GLX, and suddenly this morning, my side airbag light decided to come on, now if you switch the ignition off, then on again, it clears in sequence after the main air bag light, then after 5 or so seconds, it comes on again. I...

If it turns out to be the vent flap/stepper motor, try http://www.neatcarparts.co.uk, got mine from them for around £79.99, quite a bit cheaper than Peugeot :)

Re: any men had the snip?

Hi No2Lurch, I had it done about 12 years ago, the most painful part of the actual op was the needle for the anaesthetic, during the op you feel the Doc tugging away, and the smell of burning is not nice. It's when the anaesthetic wears off was when the fun started!! Wear a tight fitting pair of pan...

Had my iPhone 3GS for 18 months now, can't live without it! Ok, the battery life is not brilliant, but ok, but then I have over 140 apps on it!! Re: Fuel price rises

And they want us to use public transport (the worst and most expensive in Europe), No wait, rail is going up 5.6%!! I was quoted £67.00 for a single rail journey from Didcot to Dover, which in my 406, will pay for a return Dover/Dunkerque ferry and fuel to my place in Belgium!! Shafted all round, re...
