Thanks, I've just managed it by holding in the trip reset button and turning on the ignition.

I've also discovered how wonderful les mathematiques de France is;

50 (miles left to service) + 12000 (service interval) = 12500!

Can anybody tell me how to reset the service indicator? I have a 406 2.2 HDi GTX and according to the manual I press button one whilst turning the ignition on; this would be a simple procedure if I had a button 1! My multifunction display is operated by a remote control and has no buttons associates...

Hi, I have a Siemens SATNav installed with the signal fed from the rear mounted aerial of my 406 estate. Yeah, I use it as Juzza does, although you gotta watch if you are going downhill as cc relies on engine braking to slow down and if the slope is steep enouigh you will accelerate; guess where the blue meanies :evil: like to stand with their portable radar units?

You got a remote contol for your multi function display? If so the display units can be set the menu.
