Thats exactly what i did and have the same result, mines still running like a dream. That other guy explained it much better than i did. hope this helps many other hdi owners.

well to be sure u could get one from the scrap yard and try it, i got one for £10+vat just in case. but had no problems atall.

hi yes got 2 pics for you altho not great off my mobile phone, inside you will see 2 thin bits of metal that connect to each other at the end with like a tiny ball on end to, and also a plastic plate with hole in it that has 2 thin bits of metal there both if you look carefully have a very thin wire...
