i get a consistant 750 to a tank in my 2.1 with a bosch pump and it goes better than it did with the epic
but i do drive like a granny most of the time but i must fill it higher and run it lower than you lot as i am getting 46mpg average after 3 fills

more than likely the leak of pipes tbh but just check the injector pipes are tight i have never heard of an injector itself leaking just the pipes to them or the leak of ones

hi are you sure its the rad symbol and not the water in diesel sensor in the filter housing
as i havent heard of the coolant level sensors giving any problems

hi sounds like dual mass to me but i would still check the auxiluary belt tension and maybe give it a spray with wd40 just to see if it temporarily goes
with bottom pulleys they are normaly noisy all the time when they are nackered wel from what i have seen anyway

rev counter issues
hi i removed the epic pump of my 2.1 a while back but as some of you know the rev counter only works to 3k then cuts out untill you restart the car has anyone found a solution to this? i also heard somewhere that the pre 96 ones dont suffer with this can anyone confirm this thanks

hi i would change the pump while its striped for the cost involved so your belt didnt brake was it just slack? im just wondering if these engines have the same troubles as the 2.2 hdi as ive done 2 in the last 2 weeks that had broken belts both before they were due to be changed

hi if you line everything up with the timing holes you will be fine out of interest did you have any history on the old belt was it overdue a change or not due?

hi no it is normal when plugs are worn and the gap is too large it will take more energy to cross the gap it also puts a very large strain on the coil or coils also the coils can break down internaly and produce a weak spark that may be ok on idle and steady driving but with boost it cant cope as it...
