increase speed?
hey guys. Is it possible to increase the 0-60 of a 406 2.0hdi ? Iv looked breifly into engine remaps etc. but cant find straight answers. I really want to keep the pug but need more speed. Its the exec model so has all the luxurys i want and is a good size car. all its missing is speed. Any thoughts?

retro fit guide me home lights?
is there anyway of putting a timer onto headlights in a d9 so they stay on like guide me home lights in newer cars?

sorted the prob guys. installed a new 800wat amp in the boot. sounds gr8 now! custom made facia fitted aswell so the flip out screen works perfect!!!

hey anyone fancy sorting my stereo out. iv ruled the hissing noise down to the fact that the d9 comes with amp in boot as standard so aftermarket headunit causes hissing all the time!! if you can fix this problem please let me no asap. obviously i will pay for the work Hope to hear from you all Than...

headunit is a meos. expensive but worth it. that shudnt be the problem. Iv earthed it aswell. after ruling these out im left with the amp. A few people have mentioned this problem on here and they hav solved it with alot of wiring etc. but im no good with electrics at all, so wudnt even no wher to s...

after alot of reading iv heard its something to do with line out n speaker lines etc. iv heard aftermarket headunits run at a different speaker level so this affects the amp and causes the hissing. if anyone can fill me in on this and help sort it i will be extemely greateful!!!!!!!!!!

hey you may beable to help me out then!. i have an aftermarket headunit. didnt no anything about this amp in the boot so i have a constant loud hissing! is there a way of working with the amp? or bypassing?

quick update things are looking good! the screen hu fits!!!!!. just got to wait for the foam to dry, then paint the new custom facia then sorted!!!!! i will post pics whe completed Infact the only prob iv come across is a constant hissing, even when tuned and playing radio there is still background ...

just had a few thoughts and plans which may help. firstly get the 99p facia from ebay, then simply measure how far the stereo needs to stand out of this facia to operate and sit in the car. I have the same problem! I bought a facia off ebay then realised its angled so wont work!. Iv put a similar post on here but no lukc yet. Im thinking of modifying the aftermarket facia so the unit sits out about 1inch from the rest of trim. Just trying to decide what materials to use etc. If you get...

Well guys have a got a challange for you!. Just got a new headunit which has a 7" flip out screen, got the new facia to fit the car aswell.
