We have unleaded 95 octane petrol over here, which is what I use in the car.
I'll look into replacing the exhaust system though.

Improving bottom-end performance
I've got a 1998 406 ST 2.0 litre automatic which has now done 120,000 kms. I feel that the bottom-end performance is a little sluggish at the moment. What would be the most effective tweaks or modifications to carry-out to boost the acceleration, without spending a fortune? I'm not really too bother...
