Hi all, I have a spare manual gearbox from a D8 V6 that I would like to have rebuilt, and have a close friend who runs a garage specialising in Renaults who has a contact willing to do the rebuild. Therefore can anyone advise me how to ID the gearbox I have would? I am guessing it would be marked or...

Does there happen to exist a plumbing diagram for a D8 V6?

I've got a D8 engine in a non-Peugeot and am trying to suss out where I need to run pipes and how to interconnect it with the steering rack etc

Yes the engine was used in Citroen's and Renault had it in the Laguna of the same period (hence the Renault engine cover you might be able to spot on mine!)

Evening all, Can anyone advise where I can come by a decent quality head gasket kit for the earlier D8 3.0 V6 (ES9J4) please? I've typed it in on Google and there is apparently only one set on the whole of the internet... on eBay... made by a company called 'Ajusa'... who I have never heard of befor...

Cheers for the replies fellas, I only ask because the Mk1 Clio V6 inlet, TB and engine cover I intended to fit in my project car seem to be a better fit on the later 210bhp engine than the earlier 197bhp which is in it currently. Nice to know that I could upgrade to the later engine without too much...

Simple question - does the later 210bhp engine use the same mounts as the earlier 197bhp engine? And are they similar in terms of physical dimensions or is the later version much bigger?

Okay I confess, that's two questions. My bad!

Thanks for that Steve, it probably would have helped to say it's a manual gearbox, but what you've said sounds like the gearbox code the dealer gave me when I asked Pug for a price for new cables, although at £50 each cable, plus the fact the gearstick assembly is discontinued item, I may as well so...
