HDI Using Oil

Hi All

My HDI uses oil not a lot probably a litre every 8-10000 miles and more if i boot it hard also i have noticed and mainly in warmer weather that if i come to a junction and pull away "HARD" theres like a cloud of grey smoke i have no loss of power but could this still be turbo related

Re: Diesel Knock / Chatter

One thing i have noticed is that when started it will idle fine but after several minutes the revs drop as if its cutting out and it throws out black smoke then revs back to normal and it will do this consitently every 20 seconds or so until i drive off in it but once warm sits and idles fine
