Re: COMM2000

Hi all

well, thanks for the advise and the link. i have to admit, i have no idea if i have ESP on my 406. I know i have ABS, never seen anything to do with ESP. Is there anyway i can check?

Also, does anyone know any links to some kind of guide to changing one of there?

COMM2000

Hi All I have a 2003 406 saloon and the COMM2000 unit is becoming tired. The horn button has to be pushed very hard and for a good couple of seconds before it will sound, and the indicator stalk has recently started dropping after a right turn. I have looked for the part and it is quite expensive. D...

406 SatNav Installation

Hi All

Just a simple question really. Is it possible for me to install a SatNav system into my 406 which does not have one fitted?

I know its easy to go and buy a TomTom and just use that but for security and style reasons i would prefer a pug standard installation.

Thanks

MOT refused!!??

My 2ltr HDi 406 is due its latest MOT which is my first with her. I booked her into kwik fit but after dropping off the car they called me up and said that before the MOT started, they required proof of a recent cam belt change. I couldnt provide proof so they refused to do the test!! This is my fir...

Heater will not turn off!

Hi all

I have a 2003 Pug 406 2.0HDi with climate control.

I turned the heater on and now it will not shut off. The LCD displays the fan with coloured in fins going up and down, but the blower is stuck on nearly full.

Any ideas?

Thanks, ads

Re: New Pug purchase

well, i had a good drive today. Good news is the engine seems solid, was very quiet and pulled through the revs very nicely. i was very impressed. All 'toys' seem to be working nicely. Yes it is 'fully loaded' as you say, being the 2003 model. Although annoyingly for some reason no alloys?!? Seem ch...

Re: New Pug purchase

Thanks for the advise The MOT's stack up, its just the servicing and parts receipts that are a bit of a non-show. Checking in detail tomorrow. I will keep a keen eye out for any oil patches at the end of the drive (engine was very clean when i looked today so will defo be lifting the bonnet after th...
