I'm getting ready for my 60 000 mile service (to do myself) and I'm shopping for ignition coils, since they seem to be the most expensive part of the service. I did my 60K, service about a month ago myself, I found out that I had a couple of hairline cracks on 1 coil and major cracks on another, end...

A/C Compressor
I was just wondering guys, when you turn your heat on and your A/C compressor kicks in acting as a heat pump of sorts, does this have the same effect as using your a/c? What I mean is does it cause your engine to use more gas even though you are using your heat and not the actual a/c unit. Thanks.
