doesn't pul to left or nosedive on braking. garage said pistons weren't sticking. maybe they are when they get hot?

N/S Pads wear down to metal after approx 1200 miles!

New front disks and pads fitted to my 97 1.9 TD Estate in Feb. in April the disk pad warning light came on. I gnored it (stupid I know) as the pads were so new, I could believe they were worn - thought it was an electrical fault. They were down to the metal in early May and so had them replaced agai...

Thanks for the advice. Must be a break between inside fuse (coz that's live when switch is on for dipped beam) and the headlights. Only one fuse so must be a common wire to the front somewhere. from there it must split to both lights. not easy to trace so will probably have to lop a wire through som...

Is there a relay? If so, any idea where it is? Can't see one on the wiring diagram i have in my Haynes manual.

Anyone like a challenge???

R reg 1.9 diesel 406 estate no dipped beam main beam ok changed the lighting stalk - still no good turned the connectors around on the headlight bulbs so main beam on stalk activates dipped beam in bulb - works OK. MOT man won't be happy though 12v is live on F5 and F20 on inside fusebox any ideas?

No Dipped Headlights!

I've seached the forum but I appear to be the only person to have suffered this problem. Basically I have no dipped beam. full beam OK. I tested for power at the bulb (brown wire I think) and nothing there. As an emergency fix I reversed the connector on the bulbs and used full beam (which lit the d...
