Re: James' 2.1 TD GLX Estate, with added Bosch power!
Quick update, it failed the MOT at the weekend, which was nice: Reason(s) for refusal to issue Certificate Nearside Front position lamp(s) not working (1.1.A.2b) Nearside Headlamp aim too high (1.8 ) Offside Stop lamp not working (1.2.1b ) Front Exhaust has part of the system excessively deteriorate...

Re: My "New" D8!
Yes, I have to say that the 406 is noticeably slower than the 405 even pre-pump mod. The 405 only weighs 1.1 tons, as it has no equipment or safety gear. Them were the days! With the boost and pump turned up a bit, it could even be described as fast. I've always wondered if you could fit a 2.1 into...

Re: My "New" D8!
Cor blimey, that's a fair todo list! My friend has a 405 running on veg oil with a bit of a tuned pump, and it still feels quicker than my 406 2.1 on SVO with a tuned pump!
Look forward to seeing how they progress!

Re: anyone into peugeot 306s?
Pug306.net is probably the forum to be on for the 306, a lot of banter, but a friendly bunch!
Their premium membership comes with tons of useful information too.
The XUD powered Dturbos can be bloomin quick too, hybrid T25 turbos and the like! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvW_pPt0s0E#t=18s

Re: 1.9 TD estate exhaust without cat on 2.1 TD Estate?
Unless you do what calamity james did and replace the pump with a bosch I am Calamity James! :cheesy: I'll try and get hold of this non cat pipe for the 2.1, I'd rather not have a cat anyway, might eek a few more bhp/nm from the engine and seeing as the ECU doesn't go anywhere near controlling the ...

Re: 1.9 TD estate exhaust without cat on 2.1 TD Estate?
Yeah it's already running on veg oil, but it still failed! I think the pump is wound up a bit too much though so I'll drop it down a bit. It did look like the downpipe was different, but I thought it was worth a try anyway! You can get a 2.1 non cat solution, but the only place that sells it says "c...

1.9 TD estate exhaust without cat on 2.1 TD Estate?
Hi everyone, The 406 went in for the MOT today, and well, it didn't fare too well! Reason(s) for refusal to issue Certificate Nearside Front position lamp(s) not working (1.1.A.2b) Nearside Headlamp aim too high (1.8 ) Offside Stop lamp not working (1.2.1b ) Front Exhaust has part of the syste...

Re: Barry Bodger at his level best
its hard just at the lights and mr audi is sitting 0.00000001mm from your towbar and 0.000000002ms after the lights go yellow, he's honking his horn, flashing his lights, and shouting at you to get a f*cking move on (this actually happened to me once, back when I was a Clio driver (i.e. less than a...

Re: Setting Up sony internet tv
I'd say Bluetooth almost certainly, IR needs line of sight and FM is much more prone to interference, and is an analogue signalFarmerPug wrote:thats good to know, i dont want interference, is there a good type to get, and whats the best system infared, fm or bluetooth?

Re: Bloody Tripping Hazards a.k.a door seals?
I should really get round to sealing mine back on, I clip it almost every time I get out of the car, but it's not quite come off enough to cause a hazard yet, probably not long before it does though!
