as long as it's cheaper than a Lambda sensor and works..... or its £139 + Fitting! Great Car but some of the parts are crazy. Its a dream to run and drive, but probably not worth more than £500 so every penny spent is a painful. But I suppose its still cheaper than buying a decent newer one, especia...

Hi All Firstly thanks for all the advice - spot on! and you were 90% right too Eventually diagnosed as not only a faulty EGR and IAT Sensor but a Fuel Regulator, which was replaced £135 + VAT Peugeot Only) BUT the problems that I was left with (Red Hot Exhaust, High Idle etc...) was down to a pipe c...

Thanks jasper having looked on other threads on other sites, it seems to be pointing to the inlet manifold? excess air getting in etc.... The cutting out has now stopped, the opposite in fact just runs up to 2,500-3,000 rpm as soon as you start it. Apprently to replace the 'Fuel Pressure Regulator' ...

disconnected, tried reconnecting, rad fans didn't come on.
engine revved up to 2,500 rpm +, exhaust started heating up......
engine sounded rough too........ normally a bit rattly these lumps but not that bad?
MFD flashing, burning smell didn't appear...
???
