How are the rear backplates looking on it, mine are in need of replacement to the point I had to use a bolt to hold on one of the shoes

I'm hoping they will be the same, mine is a 2002 mk2 saloon.

I have followed the pipes, and can't see anything, I bought one ages ago and only just got round to trying to change it.
Not much lost if there isn't one on the car

Hi, does anyone know where the fuel filter is on 1.8 petrol D9

I checked behind the offside rear wheel arch, also the right side of the fuel tank.
I followed the pipes and still no luck.

UPDATE Well I had breakdown with home start on my insurance, (who knew) Guy came out and said I had flooded the engine!! :shock: I took it off drive on Tuesday and not used it until Thursday morning, surely that would have evaporated after two days? UPDATE DESPERATE

the car decided it won't start today

It turns over but won't fire up.
At first I thought it was the starter motor but it's turning over.
Does anyone have an ideas?

Hi I changed my coil pack in October due to the last one failing. Since then I get a stutter around 1700 rpm and 2500 rpm but the revs don't drop and the speed is constant. That's the same as mine. Same display and same heater controls, but mine does have aircon. It's a 2002/51 plate

You should get them made into a sticker and stick to the car.
