Where to in Cornwall and what spec 406? I would be interested in your front passenger seat if you do swap them out to make a desk chair.

Re: Has anyone seen any 65 plate motahs..??

I happened to be in the big city (Plymouth) on the first of the month and saw two bright yellow double Decker buses on 65 plates. do they count?

Nothing since returning home (but I don't get out much...)

I had put the resurgence in white down to the financial crisis. Flat color so cheaper on the options list.

Re: Bonnet open; confused neighbour

I always check oil, water and tyres before a long or important (holiday) journey. But I also do all the repairs myself, so not really the target market :)

Wanted Brake server for 2.2 HDI

My Brake pedal has decided to stop rising like it used to (it does come back up, but rather slowly)

Suspected culprit is the brake server so I am after a replacement) i had expected to just be able to buy one off the shelf, but the usual suspects (ebay, ecp) cant help.

2002 2.2 HDi no ESP

TIA

Another -1 for the Nandos. Your branch must be an exception. Never had a bad meal there and actively seek them out when traveling...They don't have stores this far south

Re: Going out for Dinner - How Much!!

Making the assumption this was Pizza Express, you are probably correct. It is amazing how they manage to stretch the base so much as to make it see though (presumable to save profit)

I only visit such places when I have a voucher...

There is your problem :)

Is that not a smidge like ordering the cheese omelet at the Indian and expecting to be impressed?

Re: abs fault

My reluctor ring was cracked allowing it to slide about and thus producing signal loss. I just removed it, cleaned the surface and epoxied it back in place.

4 years on it is still working fine and it saves all the faff of removing bits and heating things.

Re: Strange Driverside (Electric) window behaviour

For the heater blower first thing to check is the fuse (its in the engine bay)

Have you tried lubricating the window runners?

For most strange electrical gremlins its an idea to check the wiring in the passenger foot well under the carpet isn't wet, but yours don't quite sound strange enough!
