Re: Peugeot 406 1.9 Hdi 2000 reg Estate 110HP Starting Probl
Thanks again for the info. Yesterday, I started it around 6 times, and then sprayed the various electrical connectors on the engine with RS switch cleaner as they were quite grubby and just to be sure put the battery on a trickle charge for around 4 hours. This is a strange problem. I’ve been out in...

Hi again, Thanks to all of you for the information you have given me.
If there is no stop solenoid, then what stops the engine when I turn the key to the off position ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you so very much for taking the time and trouble replying to my problem it really is appreciated. Peugeot 406 1.9 Hdi 2000 reg Estate 110HP Starting Problems
Hi, can anyone help me please. My 406 HDI has an intermittent fault, its happened periodically over the last couple of years. When I try to start it, it might take 6 turns of the key to get it started. Then it will be fine for months then it will do it again. It did this last Friday, but eventually ...

Re: 406 Estate - Int Boot Lining Clips
They're fairly long but you might be in luck at a motor factor's, take one for a sample. Other than that it's off to the dealer's, I don't think they're too expensive. Hi Steve, Thanks for info, have just been to peugeot and have orderd a new set of 20 for £ 5.02. Thanks again for all your help. Ian

Re: FUEL PUMP WANTED
Some tips: with the fuel pump assembly you'll need also the seal. You can get that from the dealer only, it's fairly cheap. Good luck finding one used in good conditions. I got my low pressure pump new from eurocarparts. Replacing is very easy, don't let the dealer steal 40£ from you adn do it your...
