I only got it from the scrappy just because I didnt want to waste £100 if it wasn't the problem, this one happened to be a replecment that someone had fitted anyway and I got it for just £15!

Intercooler has been changed and theres a complete difference in the way the car drives, no smoke and more power,

Just took a look at these pipes and they are fine, however the intercooler has a massive 'blob' of goey oil in the corner so must be leaking, would this cause it?

it was one of the actuator solenoid vacuum pipes that was blocked originally, I have put new solenoids on it as there were the cheapest option in the hope it was them but theres no difference

I don't really have a lack of go unless the EML is on then its in limp mode, the only thing I have found wrong with any pipes is one of the vacuum pipes was sooted up and blocked, now its clean it probably smokes more than it did, oh same I'm just outside wrexham, n Wales

2.0hdi excessive black smoke
I have a RHZ engine in my car with 145k on the clock, when I put my foot down I get a lot of black smoke, if I have to acclerate under load ie up hill the EML will come on, I have plugged it in to a snap on brick and have had a couple of codes come up, both boost pressure too high and too low?? any ...
