It's not for the D9 1.8 Rapier either, looks nothing like the coil pack on the top of mine... nowhere near wide enough. Good luck with the sale though.

What's your budget? The cheapest option to add power to a naturally aspirated engine is a NOS kit, probably cost around £600 to get a 50bhp kit fitted but it's the best power to pound ratio. Next up is an engine transplant, you could get a 2.0 turbo lump dropped in for around £1000. Next up is good ...

My recommendation would be for the Netgear DG834, had one for three years now and it's never let me down.

I'd go both... use an in-car PC and touch screen as an MP3 / CD / DVD player using SPDIF digital outputs into a Pioneer 5.1 DAC, signal then split to run some Rainbow or DLS 3-way components up front, centre speaker and some quality components in the rear all with a good 50% extra RMS headroom via a...

I'm knocking cars on the head for a few years and buying a Harley... eventually! Starting with a 125cc cruiser first after doing my CBT then doing the Direct Access Scheme and buying a Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special.

Re: Intermittent fault

My 406 1.8 LX engine has started cutting out while I am running the car. When it starts stuttering, I noticed that if I throw it into neutral, the ignition lights come on, and once I put it back into gear it bump starts itself back into life. Also, it tends to cut out if I bring the car to a halt. ...

A guide I read recently sad that you should connect the amp power cables straight to the battery when fitting a sub. Is this true or is there somewhere better to attatch it? Yep that's the best way, most amplifiers draw a lot of current - my JBL 300W amplifier draws 40 amps - so run a nice thick wi...

there's two ways of doing it... The best way is unbolt your cat from between the downpipe and exhaust system, measure it, then get a pipe made up the same internal diameter as the exhaust pipe with flanges on it that match the flanges on the downpipe and exhaust. This way you can replace the decat p...

I have the same problem, it's definitely related to part of the electrics on the ignition switch as giving the switch a wobble or thumping the underside of the steering column starts the fan blowing again. Jonathan is it possible for you to give me a step by step guide of how to swap out the ignitio...

Those Alpine subs are very nice, 1000W peak = 250W RMS so you want an amp delivering about 300W RMS maximum. I can highly recommend the JBL GTO 75.2 which will give you 290W RMS @ 4 ohms in bridged mode, loads of places sell them brand new for about £50.

You know what, you guys can joke all you want but there's been some serious scientific research into the effects of the lunar cycle on women and the effects it has on their preferences in men. For example, at a certain point in the cycle a woman will prefer a man who is caring, tender, sensitive and...

What Certificate Rating is it? My mum said I can only watch films of up to rating 15 only. Why is it that at 15 it's totally legal to go see a horror film where people can be shredded, torn, slashed, stabbed, shot, burnt alive, spindled, folded, mutilated and generally harmed to death, but it's not...

On the D9 there's a switch down by the handbrake to turn off the passenger airbag, dunno about the D8 though.
