I am still learning about ECU tuning but don't mind helping others out with simple things like EGR disable... well worth a visit to http://www.ecuedit.com/ or http://www.ecuconnections.com and you can learn to make minor changes like tha...

Re: Shudder or Stall Immediately on Start
To be honest I may never get to the bottom of this unless it gets worse and becomes a problem. If I do find out what it is I will make sure I post back

Re: timing belt 2.2 136bhp
Get the belt done ;) stuff breaks when they snap! Its not a bad job and theres some good guides on here how to do it. Give yourself a day if you never done one before, I got it down to about 3 hours now as my car had about 5 belts in 4 weeks but the less said about that the better, still trying to r...

Re: Over revving
406 runaways are actually quite common. if it was a run-away though it would have 'drove' not just revved as if the clutch was pressed in. really weird

Re: PP2000 Injector Correction (have a peek)
I think it was about 70C coolant and oil was half way through the blue bit... it had been for a run but had been sitting about 45 mins before I started playing with PP2000. I haven't done a leak off, might try it one day if the sun ever comes back out... need to deal with my cars indoor swimming poo...

Re: Turbo Noise
You'll probably think this sounds stupid, but what condition is your exhaust in? I know it doesn't have a trubo, but I recently had a Nissan Almera with a similar noise with lack of power every now and then, until one day I had a call to say it was pulling badly and hissing, I drove the car up a hi...

Navteq GPS CD
Hi I am asking for a friend, who has a 406 Saloon with the GPS built in. The CD he has seems to have got a load of bad sectors on it and can't read all of the CD. Just wondering if anyone else has this CD and could send us a copy so I can replace the corrupt files? Yes I am fully aware this will pro...
