Morning... I got a really weird problem with a 206 HDI (2.0, 90, same as the 406 HDI 90 :wink:) hence why I am asking over here..! Sometimes, on start up, if the car has been left (the longer the more chance it will happen) and if it has been raining (the wetter again the more chance it will happen)...

Get the belt done ;) stuff breaks when they snap! Its not a bad job and theres some good guides on here how to do it. 406 runaways are actually quite common. if it was a run-away though it would have 'drove' not just revved as if the clutch was pressed in. really weird

I think it was about 70C coolant and oil was half way through the blue bit... it had been for a run but had been sitting about 45 mins before I started playing with PP2000. Sure I read somewhere if you add them all up it should equal around 0, which mine does (about 0.15 off in one direction)...
