Is the dial on the far left that goes off once the car has started,oil level or something to do with the glow plugs?is it supposed to go off with the car running.many thanks.

Been having a look round the net and number 4 plug looks a bugger,some people have made a tool to help with the job but i couldn't load a pic,how do you guys on here do it?

I took a mate with me to give it the onceover before i got it,it was advertised as needing glow plugs,it started ok but only on three,the forth cylinder came in about 5 seconds later,they both said it was the hard to get at fourth one.It was the same yesterday morning,I hav'nt tested them,or should ...

Hi,just got a 406 GLX TD estate 1998 S reg,the seller said it needed glow plugs and i've just phoned the local car spares and he asked if it was the xud engine.Can you enlighten me please.£20 for a set of 4,thought that was cheap.He said they were cheaper a few months ago at £16.
