Re: loss of power .
I have changed MAF, air and fuel filter and still getting drop off in power. The EGR is getting vacuum and can move. The vacuum drops off on higher revs, shutting off the EGR as should be expected. Someone must have some ideas, the random loss of power is still there, its like the fuel is reduced an...

Re: loss of power .
Still getting intermittent problems. Power drops off I lift foot off accelerator and immediately reapply and power goes back on.
Is this the sign of knackered egr. I have been suggested turbo leak but if a pipe was leaking wouldn't this be a permanent fault?

Re: loss of power .
OK rather than starting a new thread I thought i would borrow this one. I have a 2000 2.0 HDI 90HP Estate. Mine is having intermittent power loss, dip the clutch rev engine off we go again. Seems mostly when cruising in 5th or going up hill. I read the above about blanking off the EGR not sure if i ...

Re: Air con Failts... Beeping Hell
Whilst i was on there I got a couple more faults; Clutch Switch Signal. Consistency with vehicle speed and FRIC (cooling function integral with the ECU) consistency between the fan speed and signal... any help with these appreciated. Best bet is to clear these and see if they come back, if they don...

Re: 2.0l HDI 90 Knocking on deceleration.
Thank for the prompt replies. The knocking occurs moving and stationary so put it down to the engine. Bonnet lifted I pull the throttle up the engine wind up, let go and the knocking starts. No noticeable loss in power when driving, but then these aren't Bugatti anyway! Whats Crank pull disintegrati...

2.0l HDI 90 Knocking on deceleration.
Hi i have a quite noticeable noise on deceleration. The noise sounds like a knocking from the front of the engine. Connected to PP2000 but no relevant errors coming up. Hoping someone in here will have an idea. The engine has covered 112000 miles. I did find a shard/sliver of metal in the Aux drive ...

Rear Sub-Frame
Car had its MOT today with an advisory on a rusty subframe , not dangerously corroded. Presumably the whole thing will need to come out. How difficult is this without a large garage?
Haynes doesn't give an directions to removing a rear subframe, so some guidance is welcome.
