Re: Hi All :)

re intermitent speedo, i thought it was the box behind the glove box in most instances? should be other threads on it somewhere. It was too long ago when i did mine for me to remember much detail other than black box with cream top by plug connector.

Re: Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

ok, took the car out for a spin today. The lowering springs make the car look a bit more planted, although the front is a bit lower than the back. This should sort when i have more than a fivers petrol in. I put some stuff in the boot for a tip trip and it evened it out a lot. This is not a bad thin...

Re: Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

well, the springs arrived a bit ago and have all been fitted. I should be picking the car up soon so will give an idea of what they are like if anyone is interested. The fact it has just cost me about 600 quid for the car picking up and fixing might put some of you off though. Needed 2 bearings and ...

Re: Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

I did check Amazon, but not in stock As for FK AUtomotive, they do appear sound, with all the quality checks and german made. Just my concern is that they dont list what engine derivetives they are rated against, simply one part for saloon, and one part for coupe. Other kits seem to list the engine ...

Re: Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

no prob, i know its cheap, but its half the price i have seen them on most sites -e.g. http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/category_results.mhtml?category=fksprings&car=peugeot406&manufacturer=fksuspension&sub_category=1 my only concern is that neither the ones specified for coupe or sal...

Re: Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

Thanks steve, i think that the easiest thing would be to give the company a call! (not open on saturdays or i would have done that) They list them for the saloon, and also for the coupe (strangly the saloon is more expensive). My thoughts were that the saloon would be up to 2l (or 2.1) and the coupe...

Re: Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

HI lozz, suppose you cant help with the question? I'm pretty desperate for an answer as i need to put an order in. Due to both springs snapping the car is pretty much unmovable at the moment. Strange and lucky how this seems to happen more when the car is stationary rather than while hurtling down t...

Broken Spring Club and coupe spring compatability

Hoping this should be a pretty straightforwared one for a Newb. Im looking at a spring only lowering kit and the number of coupe ones is far greater than for the saloon. Im interested in the FKPE015 model, which is for the coupe. On this site they are about 70 quid cheaper than most other sites - ht...
