These are still up for sale.
I've also found a pair of break hoses, possibly for the rear.
I'll get the part numbers up as soon as.
Asking £15 for the pair delivered.

Re: Nut size
I'm trying to remember off the top of my head but if it's the nut and bolt that i'm thinking of which changes the camber of the tyres, then i think it is 5/8 inch.
I can't be 100% sure as it was a week ago when i last did them.

Re: Rear wheel bearings changed but still a little a bit of
Hi Ally, I'm glad that I didn't have to tackle that bush either. The only bushes I do want to have a go at we're the ones for the torsion bar. I do have some new ones but after the fun of doing the rear linkages it took all the ambition out of me. I know they are not really a big job so I may just l...

Re: Rear wheel bearings changed but still a little a bit of
Hi all, Just to update this thread, the play in the rear wheels has now been solved. Having changed the rear wheel linkages and struggling over two glorious sunny days in the process, the movement i was talking about in my first post has now been solved. I'm amazed that i hadn't seen this when i cha...

Re: Rear wheel bearings changed but still a little a bit of
Hi guys, Thanks for the replies. Jasper: There is no play in the wheels when gripping them at the 12 & 9 o'clock positions. It is limited to 9 & 3 o'clock. When I did the drivers side, I originally tightened up the nut to the torque settings as stated in the Haynes manual I have. I didn't lock the n...

Rear wheel bearings changed but still a little a bit of play
Hi, A couple of weekends ago i had changed both of my rear wheel bearings. I started on the drivers side first and after getting off, cleaning the shaft and then refitting the new one, i re-assembled that corner and then fitted the wheel. I gripped the wheel at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions ...

Re: Backbox prices
A good motor factors or eBay and you'll pay in the region of £40 - £50.
Kwik-Fit?
More likely in the £70 - £80 region plus fitting.

Re: Rear brake woes
Great news mate. Glad you got it sorted. When i did mine last week i had trouble with the retaining pins for the pads. I had to bash it out using a household screw and a 2lb hammer and they were out with a single stroke. I haven't heard of RSJ before. I though most smaller motor factors had been eat...

Re: confused :?
You could just try replacing both to be sure.
At £20 for both the verticals and the horizontals, it is hardly breaking the bank and it means one less job to do for at least a couple of years.

Re: Is this catching on my cv boots? (PICS)
I doubt highly that it will be mate.
Though the driveshafts do move around by extending and contracting, they don't move around enough for them to catch on something like that.
If you're unsure, try grinding it down a little.
Knocking 2mm off will definitely make sure there is no contact.

Re: Lower Ball Joint Retaining Nut
Not sure mate but they are definitely nylock nuts and any good fastners will stock them.
I'm pretty sure they are a universal thread size.
They may even be widely available from a good motor factors too.
