Re: Yet another F...... rain sensor problem

Well today I measured a little on the sensor, and it raised more questions... The sensor has 4 wires (see pics below). perm + on the brown. According to Haynes wiring diagram there should only be 3 wires in the plug??? Also I found out (via ebay) that my sensor is for a pug 607. Does it HAVE to be f...

Re: Yet another F...... rain sensor problem

Hi Doggy

Just checked it. Doesn't seem to be the case, though. I've set the sensor to "least sensitive". The error readings for the BSI says "permanent power supply error to Rain Sensor".
My rain sensor has 4 wires in the plug. Does anyone know the different ones? which one is the power?

Re: Yet another auto wiper problem

Hi Steve Actually I have only owned the car for 3 month and they haven't worked while I have had it. Nevertheless it is born with the "auto" function on the stalk. I changed the com2000 Unit 2 weeks ago as the light switch malfunctioned. The car is an old Cab and I Don't Know if the previous owner h...

Yet another auto wiper problem

Hey All. I have a really anoying problem with the auto wipers on my 2002 HDi D9 Estate. Apparently you should be able to see a orange light in the sensor when it is set in auto (have read this in numerous posts). However this is not the case on my car. The wipers only works at normal intermmitent wi...
