Re: Williams waterless wash "n" wax.
I imagine it is silicone based. It will give a shine that soon wears off and attracts dust to it. I shall remain a sceptic. However I have not tried it myself. Don't think there is a real substitute to good old fashioned 'elbow grease' Handy though if you are selling a car and need a temporary quick...

2001 406 2.2HDi Exec saloon for sale...£400
Well I have run out of funds and patience to fix this car, so it has to go to a good home. It's a shame, because I know it's a simple fix, but my mechanical skills are a decimal point above zero... It's on ebay here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191568640415?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555...

This sounds like 'Wet footwell syndrome' to me. Have the carpet up in the drivers footwell and have a look see if you have a swimingpool in there. Carpet may feel dry on top, but it's notorious under there. Aso under there, is the main connections between the front and rear looms, and the connectors...

Ok, first off, thanks for the explanation of how to upload a pic :P After spending an age looking at the engine and feeling a bit intimidated, I found a diagram of the air system on another post. I then spent a couple of hours with colouring pens and a pencil working out what went where.... Then I w...

Planet can be a pain to activate.
It will eventually, just keep entering new codes from the keygen.
Think my record was 23 attempts before it finally activated.
I have no idea what the problem is, unless it needs a certain sequence to recognise the code.

I checked all the Vac pipes to see they were seated fully, only one I cant reach is the one to the turbo, typical :supafrisk: I have to admit defeat now and put myself in the hands of a dealer and hope they dont rob me to much.... However, while looking around I came across the two air dosers at the...
