Two months ago i had a fault flashed at me. "engine Coolant Temp to high" and the radiator fans kept on running. Ok, i changed the sensor on the right of the cylinder head and all was well. I now have the same fault flashing at me, the temperature gauge, with the ignition on and engine off is showin...

I have just had the MAF (sensor after the air filter) off to look at and found that inside on one side there is a grid with 3 bars of differing thickness and opposite is a single flattened to a point loop. The thinnest of these bars is broken. Could that be a problem? I have no codes come up. :frown...

I will clean what i can and see what happens.
It has just had its MOT yesterday at 256000 miles, so the running in period has just about finished anyway.
