As Steve says, it is likely to be the recirculating flap drive you're hearing, but it may not be faulty. If your car has climate control, in hot weather it will automatically switch on the aircon and set the air to recirculate in an effort to drop the interior temperature quickly. Are you guys off ...

I think I'll give the cleanup option a whirl as I don't want to spend any money on the car!

Hi guys, When I turn the key in the ignition, there is a whirring sound that appears to be coming from the dashboard somewhere, doesn't stay on for long but it is annoying! Also, when the ignition is turned on, sometimes the A/C comes on auto mode, even though it was was not used on the last journey...

She didnt miss a beat the whole trip! Checked the oil and tyre pressures once! We are keeping it for next year and have big plans!! She's gonna have a rebuild, new clutch etc.... Gonna rip the back seat out and fit 2 singles! She will have a new paint scheme depending on next years sponsors! Apparen...

Good for you. Ignition key will normally cost a packet, apart form the key, there's £25 or so to retrieve the PIN if you don't have the card that came with the car and about £50 to program it. (If we had a bit more time I could do both for you, but I'm off on hols early hours of Friday morning). Ma...

Went to the local Peugeot dealer in Faringdon today cap in hand.... They have promised to give us a set of drop links and relays for the cooling fan which is good, going to be cheeky and ask them for a new ignition key as well!
