Re: Noob from Wirral
Yes, it was a staggering amount in road tax! The car was nice, full electrics inside, but had no service history, bit of noise from the alternator belt tensioner pulley (or the alternator) and the ABS was grinding away at slow speeds when coming to a stop (I'm familliar with the sensor gap issue on ...

Re: Noob from Wirral
Not seen much this week, until this morning - this was on the road next to where I work. Guy has just put it up for sale, excuse the pics, I grabbed a couple of shots on my phone: http://nwex.co.uk/temp/1.jpg http://nwex.co.uk/temp/2.jpg http://nwex.co.uk/temp/3.jpg Details are a bit sketchy at the ...

Re: Noob from Wirral
Well I tell you what chaps, if you want a 406 don't waste your time looking in the North West. I looked at at least half a dozen yesterday and they were just about all ready for the scrap yard. There were smoking engines, broken electric windows (with the window down and the back seats soaked!), fil...

Re: Cruise Control not working...so PP/Lexia???
I've had to do a BSI reset on two 307s and one 407 which had cruise control faults. The reset cured the problem.

Re: Noob from Wirral
That's a good idea. I'm handy with the spanners! I think this is the nearest executive model to me but the seller hasn't made much of an effort to warrant the trip: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1999-Peugeot-406-2-0TD-Executive-Saloon-110-PS-Grey-Showing-52000miles-new-mot-/170881438531?pt=Automobiles_U...

2007 Peugeot 307 1.6 HDI for sale
Apologies for posting a for sale thread when I've only just joined, but I promise that I'll be a regular like I am on PeugeotForums! 2007 Peugeot 307 "S" - facelift model with new, sportier looking front end Economical 1.6 engine, but with 110bhp, so its not as sluggish as the 90bhp models 38000 mil...

Re: Noob from Wirral
Thanks very much for the info so far guys. The power - weight issue, was similar on the 407 I had, it being only a 1.6. Which models (if any) have the dual mass flywheel? These are the ones closest to me I had my eye on: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261106776769?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m...

Hello fellas, New to the forum but not to Pugs. Trem from Peugeotforums recommend I sign up. I'm currently looking for a 406. I've had about a dozen Pugs over the years, starting with a 205, then moving to a 205 CTI, 306's of all variety (dTurbo, petrol Meridian and various other diesels), three 307...
