Hello I have up for grabs a 406 2000(w) 2.0d HDI fuel filter housing, good working order - taken from a working car - mine.

Mind you there is no filter it is just the housing, i'll attach a pic.

Make me a fair offer and i'll stick it in the post for you.

Here's an update, once i had the filter on i headed out on a test drive and made her work pretty hard and all was well however on getting back and killing the ignition i heard all the fuel running back to the tank - it was drawing in air somewhere. So i started at the lift pump and took off the conn...

I've had the lift pump out a few times recently and it can be a pain to get it back on but on my 2000 406 HDI there is an arrow on the locking ring that when fully tight lines up with an arrow on the top of the lift pump. Has your 90 got this? Of course im talking about the Bosch system maybe yours ...

Thanks Lozz but that is a different filter than the one on my 406. Doggy, thats a good diagram but I am still lost as to what connection goes where. On the diagram it looks like the pipe simply links to the other connection but it goes into a section of the engine. Can anyone who owns a a 406 110 HD...

I would have thought one or two 406 owners would have changed a Bosch filter before.

Thanks for the reply but Ido mean the two pipes that connect from the engine to the bottom of the filter housing, not as you say the top pipes.

On my 406 there are two pipes that conect on the top, two on the bottom and one feed pipe on the side bottom.
