Re: My 406 110 HDI on e-bay. Long MOT!

It's my short arms in combination with the long legs I think lol (i'm not very well proportioned!) once the seat is far enough back for my legs I can't reach the steering wheel anymore and it doesn't adjust :( been to see this instead though :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-404-Saloon-Original-E...

Lol sorry it's not, actually I don't fit it too well, legs are too long :( I don't think Peugeot designed the seating position with me in mind hehe

Front D8 cloth seats, NSR door wanted

Hi everyone, I'm after some front seats from a D8 car with the manual controls and lumbar support in grey. I need a passenger rear door in dark red (shout up if there are loads of paint codes and I'll check) not sure if this has to be from a D9 car but if it matters then it's a D9 one I need. Thanks...

Please don't try to fit those into your 406, you will b...

Re: hello newbie here:-)

Great advice, thanks. I like the sound of them being completely manual too. I'll ring the scrappie tomorrow and see if he has anything in. What years are the D8 cars? I noticed a thread comparing them so I will have to study that and make sure I can tell the difference lol Oh and I won't be changing...

Re: hello newbie here:-)

Welding isn't a problem as we have a big mig welder and my oh is pretty skilled, however would the seats with the lumbar support just go straight in? I'm a bit funny with car seats, the Supra is the only car I haven't had to have a cushion in my back for long journeys lol. I am all for the easy opti...

Re: hello newbie here:-)

I shall have a look this weekend it actually seems to have fixed it's self since I bought the pump but I'll fit it anyway just in case. I'm just in the process of buying some seats from a mk3 Supra (the car I used to have) as I'm not finding the seats too comfy at the moment they seem lacking in lum...

thanks for the tip it's a 110, I have got one now but I bought one from the exact same model to be sure :) I thing it needs a service too, gonna check the book but it gave me a bit of a rattle this morning setting off so I'll buy everything this weekend and give it a full check over.
