Re: First Oil Change - Never Done This Before!
Guys, Cheers for that info. I knew it was relatively easy job. Just those little tips (such as getting oil up your sleeve) that they never tell you in any manual :) @Welly - I have one of those pump sucker things but they don't get all the cr*p out. Every other oil change I like to have a proper 'dr...

Hoping some of you guys can offer some tips to a newbie on oil changes. Wanted to do this myself for some time and everybody has got to start somewhere! I have a 2001 Peugeot 406 Estate. I used to change the oil by using one of those pumps that sucks it out the top. However every other change I like...

Re: Fuel Filter Change - Now Dripping Diesel (2001 406)
@steve_earwig - nothing dangling on a wire that I can see. @jasper5 - I've made sure the top of the fuel filter is sealed. I've cleaned the top to make sure there is nothing coming out of there. It is definitely coming out of the 'hole' that I put on the picture. This morning when I started the car ...

Fuel Filter Change - Now Dripping Diesel (2001 406)
I changed the fuel filter in my 2001 406 Estate today. It took my a while to work out that the fuel filter itself was the wrong way up (much diesel pouring out later) and it's sorted. However I now have a small drip coming through from, what looks like, a drain on the side of the filter (see here ht...

Re: I've searched - need Lexia 3 recommendation
Guys thanks for the replies on this one.
Because of the support offered I went for the Lexia 3 from EasyDiagnostics as recommended by Jasper5.
Hopefully that is all I will need for the time being!
Thanks again.
