this is probably gunna sound daft but..... a mate of mine has a re-build kit for my HP pump, going to do that on Saturday, if it doesn't work then i'll make the engine and turo, gearbox etc available.
it's done 196K but there are no signs of turbo wear so I would give a price of £50

very usefull information thank-you, do you think a de-compression plate would be usefull too? make the studs about 5mm longer and put 5mm of steel between the head and the block with a gasket either side? this used to be the best way to stop heads lifting on the old ZVH Turbo ford engines. might be ...
