O/S/R Brake caliper advice

Hi All, I recently replaced the rear hubs on my 1998 406 2.1td exec, whilst doing this I discovered that my O/S/R brake caliper has seized and will not slide in/out no matter what I do. So I'm going to replace it with a working second hand one, but I seek your advice as to which other 406 models use...

Thanks TheSong, I've thought exactly the same and can't find anything it should be connected to, the engine starts and seems OK, no crazy warning lights anywhere either. I'm pretty sure that this does connect to a Fuel cut off / inertia switch (which is actually visible in the grainy Haynes engine p...

Gearbox/Transmission Oil Change 406 2.1td

Hi All, I'm going to be servicing my car soon, prior to a European drive. I've got no issues doing the usual filters & oil, but I have never changed the gearbox/transmission oil and thought it might be about time I did! I'd be grateful if anyone can provide a bit of guidance or handy tips to help me...

It's a 1998 2.1td 12v, off hand I don't know more about the engine specifically, but I can provide the vin if that would help? I've just had the car back from the garage and I swear I haven't seen this connector sticking up before! They were given an eye watering amount of money to replace the clutc...
