Haven't been on here long but I just noticed under my avatar that apparently I drive a 1.6 8v motor!
What's that mean? Have I won a prize??!!

Re: new pp2000 owner questions plz
Don't ever update via the web, or anywhere else for that matter. Several over on the Coupe forum tried it and it killed the Planet software stone dead. You don't need to connect to the web to install it either, but it does need to be connected to your laptop though. (not to the car, just plugged int...

Re: new pp2000 owner questions plz
During the install bit, did you get this screen to choose language? I know it's Lexia, but I installed both (Lexia & Planet) on my lappy. Is it possible to only install Planet without Lexia??

Re: new pp2000 owner questions plz
It's over a year since I installed mine and it wasn't a painless process either..... Sounds as though it's not in properly yet on yours if you're still having to faff around with install discs. As far as I remember, the language option was asked during the install so you shouldn't have to be looking...

Yes I think you're right....9012 is what you want. Confirm on Service Box or pm me your VIN and I can look it up this end.
Did PP read your mate's Coupe ok when he picked "406 Coupe"? It shouldn't have done....should be "406 Coupe R" for his year of car.

Re: new pp2000 owner questions plz
Your pal's Coupe is quite a late one, so may have rolled over into 5 digits. Is he including the "U5" bit at the end, because this just means it was assembled at Pininfarina's plant in Italy, as all Coupes were. If you're still having DAM problems, (see what I did there?!), get an a/c with Service B...

Yes , I suppose it is compared to the colossal mileages some engines rack up!
As long as it keeps pulling like it does, it can stay in nappies forever.....

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
Can't compete with that but back in Feb 2010 I caught this moment on camera. http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd176/markyspark20/Body%20Inside/40193990-33ae-49d2-9c30-93ff9b946916_zps5e85117f.jpg As you can see, the handbrake's on as a lay-by conveniently appeared just as it was about to roll over...

Re: Fanta and centre console = faulty airbag
I think it was 100 ohms = off and // 400 ohms = on The passenger air bag disable is not simply an on/off switch. It has resistors in there, hence the readings above. This is to prevent a short circuit or open circuit in the wiring from 'fooling' the system into thinking you had operated the switch,...

Coupe owner
Hello guys and girls. I've been over on the Coupe forum for about 6 years....thought it time to venture here sometimes! Don't have any experience of the saloons or their variants, but the Coupe does share a lot of stuff so may be able to throw in the odd snippet of info here and there. Mines a V6 ma...
