It is just under the front right of the engine cover. I was hoping to get a handle on the issue before needing to get my mechanic involved but as he will have the readers it may be the best route now.
Whoever was at this before me did a good job of messing it up!

Re: MAF and Swirl Flaps
Yes I was not too happy about the box. Will need to get it removed but I want to make sure that however it was out in will allow me to just pull it out without much fiddling about. I assumed the blanked vac pipe was from the unit just to the left of the pipe (that it is actually resting on in the ph...

Re: 406 Coupe HDI Confusion
Thanks for the info Doggy. I'll take look for details on the swirl flaps. Are they something that can be checked easily or is it a take the inlet out job? On the FAP I was aware it was a problem so was thinking that may be an issue. What is the method for checking this issue? I just read your guide ...

406 Coupe HDI Confusion
Hi all, Long time Peugeot owner (406's throughout). I test drove a coupe 2.2 HDI today and had a questions I'd appreciate some input on. Car was very slow on take off from junctions. It needed the foot right down to get away from junctions. Got going in 3-5 gear but the low end worried me. This is m...
