Coupe rear bumper wanted..

It's been a while since I posted on here, I've just bought myself a hyperion blue 2.2 coupe with a smashed rear end.. So I'm in need of a rear bumper and if the price is right, a bootlid too. Cash waiting, located near Southampton but I will travel if needed.

Does it misfire if revved from idle? Also is it mapped?

^this. Much easier to pull hard if you're confident that you'll keep your face in one piece

Re: Cost of Light Bulbs...

I buy from the motorfactors, they're good quality and a H4 bulb is something like £2.50

Halfords is the funniest, £19 for the same damn bulb

Do you have the intercooler? Assuming it's leak free?

Has it always been "loud" on boost? Like low ish revs through town with the window down you can hear it quite well.

Re: Lacking performance low down

Basically I blocked the air intake and then used a bike innertube over the top if the intercooler with the valve sticking out. I'll take pictures at some point.

I'll replace the cooler and see what happens :)

Lacking performance low down

I've noticed the last couple of days that my bus seems a bit laggy and lacking low down, and also that there is more turbo noise than I'd expect. Once above the 2krpm mark, she pulls well, but get the wrong gear and it's embarrassingly slow, feels very laggy. So tonight I had a look under the bonnet...

Re: Split type cv boots

So it's the outer end that's gone? It's not really that bad a job to access it "properly", it requires 2 people to fit the stretch type boot though, it's a job of many innuendos
